Where do I search for electronic theses/dissertations published by other universties?

Answer

The best database for searching and locating electronic theses and dissertations not published by LSU is Proquest Dissertations and Theses: Global. As the official digital dissertations archive for the Library of Congress and as the database of record for graduate research, PQDTGlobal includes millions of searchable citations to dissertations and theses from 1861 to the present day together with over a million full-text dissertations that are available for download in PDF format.

You can find this database by going to the Databases tab on the library's homepage. Either search the name of the database or select the letter that its name begins with, and scroll down. The databases will be listed in alphabetical order. See the attached screenshot. In the event the title is not available digitally through this database, I would recommend placing an interlibrary loan request. They will try to borrow a hard copy from another library or explore purchase options for obtaining the title.
